Kashyyyk Companion Guide Walkthrough - Kotor one
On this folio you'll discover my Companion Guide for Kashyyyk in Kotor 1. This guide is designed to exist used as a companion while you're playing the game, hence the name "Companion Guide". If you desire to have your phone out while you play and don't experience similar scrolling through a guide with no pictures - you lot can but use the map locations on this page instead.
My Companion Guide volition show you an overview of each location on each planet forth with whatsoever points of interest on that map you can visit. NPCs involved in Side Quests or events that requite Dark Side/Light Side Points are most of what I signal to. This guide goes mitt in hand with my Kashyyyk Walkthrough which is built more like a traditional hand-holding walkthrough. Last only non least, when playing the game I liked having a checklist that reminded me of how and where to update the story on each planet, and then I have included that at the top of each page as well.
To advance the story on Kashyyyk...
1. Get to Rwookrrorro Village and speak with Chuundar
2. Ride the elevator down into the Lower Shadowlands
iii. Help Jolee by clearing the Czerka Camp
4. Find/Inspect the Star Map in Upper Shadowlands
5. Decide to ally with Freyyr or Chuundar
Czerka Landing Port - Kashyyyk
Eli & Matton: Speak with these 2 NPCs to start the Matton Dasol Side Quest on Kashyyyk. Information technology requires you to discover a droid in the Upper Shadowlands and return it to these NPCs. Make sure you complete this Side Quest before allying with Freyyr since these NPCs forth with all other Czerka will be chased off the planet.
Events: Every Docking Bay area in the game is an "event location". What this means is there is a chance that y'all'll go a dialogue prompt from your Companion like... [So and so looks like they want to speak with y'all] which will advance their personal story line - or you might get an NPC that approaches you and starts one of the Companion Side Quests.
Below is a listing of every Companion Side Quest in the game.
Bastila'south Female parent (Tin can't get-go on Manaan or Korriban)
Canderous' Honor (Can commencement anywhere but Tatooine)
Juhani's Past (Tin showtime anywhere just Dantooine)
Mission'southward Brother (Tin't start on Tatooine or Manaan)
Carth'due south Son (Can start anywhere only Korriban)
The Smashing Walkway - Kashyyyk
When you first pass through this area you'll only be able to travel through the northern half between the landing port and Rwookrrorro Village. After speaking with Chuundar in Rwookrrorro Village you will be given access to the bottom half of this map which will take y'all to the Upper Shadowlands.
Czerka Goons: You'll meet a grouping of Czerka NPCs here which will give you numerous opportunities for Low-cal Side or Nighttime Side Points. If you take Zaalbar with you and then yous'll get more opportunities for both. There are many things you tin can practice in this situation like [Force Persuade] them to requite yous money, instigate a fight or part peacefully. For a total list check out the Kotor 1 wikia. If you fight with them and kill them you'll be able to loot a Czerka Corp. Resource ID which you tin use to access the Supply Station also marked on the map.
Supply Station: There is a terminal here forth with two boxes that you lot can apply Security on to open or bash open. Alternatively if you fought the Czerka goons mentioned above and obtained their Czerka Corp. Resource ID and so you'll exist able to use this to open the containers.
Night Jedi: Here you lot'll encounter a grouping of 3 Nighttime Jedi. Many of the planets yous visit throughout the game volition have a group of Dark Jedi waiting to deadfall y'all, if this is the first planet yous're doing after Dantooine the fight will exist quite difficult. Employ whatever Shields, Stims and Strength Powers y'all accept prior to attacking the enemy to make the fight significantly easier.
Village of Rwookrrorro - Kashyyyk
The Village of Rwookrrorro is the primary boondocks on the planet of Kashyyyk and is heavily involved in the main story of this planet. During the story you'll take to choose who yous desire to be the chieftan of this village, Chuundar or Freyyr.

Make sure you complete the Woorwill Side Quest prior to killing Freyyr if yous decide to become this route. Alternatively, if y'all make Freyyr the chieftan y'all'll be able to come and go from the village whenever y'all please.
Upper Shadowlands - Kashyyyk
In the Upper Shadowlands you lot'll come across another Jedi by the name of Jolee and you'll be tasked with assisting him in removing the Czerka from the expanse. Their military camp is to the north and Jolee asks you to try and notice a non-violent solution -- however y'all can take any approach you lot desire. Wookiee Corpse: This NPC is role of the Woorwill Side Quest which starts in Rwookrrorro Village.
Droid: This droid is role of the Matton Dasol/Eli Gand Side Quest which begins in the Czerka Landing Port.
Czerka Camp: Speak with Commander Dern at this camp to be sprayed with a compound that makes the Tachs in the expanse assail you. Yous'll need a Tach Gland for the Mission's Blood brother Side Quest if y'all plan to consummate it. During the main story on Kashyyyk Jolee will ask you lot to articulate out this army camp of Czerka in Upper Shadowlands. Yous accept a couple unlike options for clearing them out, all of which are explained in my Kashyyyk Walkthrough.
Lower Shadowlands - Kashyyyk
In the Lower Shadowlands you'll find the Star Map that we're later on all the way to the south and Freyyr in the northeast. To access the Star Map you'll demand to answer a series of questions and maybe fight a pair of droids if you don't requite the right answers. As for Freyyr, you can choose to marry with him and hunt Chuundar out or you can kill Freyyr and ally with Chuundar, it'southward your choice.
Even if y'all don't ally with Freyyr I recommend you still get Bacca'southward Blade from the Ritual Marker to the south of Freyyr. This is a really nice Vibroblade that Zaalbar has an attachment to. Grrrwahrr: When you lot first arrive in the Lower Shadowlands yous'll come up across Grrrwahrr contesting it out with a Mandalorian. You'll automatically intervene and attempt to save him. Brand sure no Mandalorians assault him during your rescue attempt as he tin can exist killed past them if they keep attacking him. Grrrwahrr starts the Mandalorian Side Quest on Kashyyyk.
Mandalorian: Throughout the Lower Shadowlands there are 3 groups of Mandalorian enemies that you'll need to kill for Grrrwahrr'due south Side Quest. None of these enemies will attack y'all unless you run around in the designated areas without any weapons equipped. Later on the Mandalorians spawn you tin can equip your weapons once again when you battle them.
Freyyr: During the story quest on Kashyyyk you lot'll take to decide if you desire to kill Freyyr or marry with him. The Light Side Points choice is to ally with Freyyr and kill Chuundar, this will as well requite y'all permanent access to the Village of Rwookrrorro. Alternatively if you impale Freyyr (Dark Side Points) Chuundar volition thanks but will exile you lot and say no outsiders.
Ritual Marker: While doing the marry with Freyyr story quest y'all'll be asked to collect Bacca's Blade from the beast that is summoned in this area. This is a very powerful fully upgradeable Vibroblade that Zaalbar has a lot of attachment to.
